General Information
One of the largest districts in Tbilisi is Saburtalo. Situated next to Vake neighborhood, Saburtalo became part of Tbilisi in 1917. Although you can not find historical buildings or monuments there, Saburtalo has lots of shops (especially at Kostava, Pekini, and Vaja-Pshavela streets) supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, companies and universities.
Saburtalo district mainly covers Didi dighomi, Vashlijvari and Saburtalo neighborhoods.
