General Information
Ortachala is located in the south-eastern part of Tbilisi. It is one of the oldest parts of the city. In the 19th century, Ortachala became a resting and entertainment place for Tbilisi residents and visitors. This part of the city had cultural and economical meaning. In 1954 in Ortachala district, on the river Mtkvari was built “Ortachalhesi”.
